We’re a retired couple from Texas and Louisiana who traded the rush of everyday life for quiet mornings, starry skies, and the peace of Arkansas. What began as restoring a small farmhouse soon became a passion — creating places where others could rest, reconnect, and breathe deeply again.
Over time, our love for hosting grew into Natural State Escapes — two unique waterfront retreats: one nestled beside a still pond in the countryside, and one right on Harris Brake Lake. Both are meant for couples, families, and friends looking to unwind, laugh around a fire, fish at sunrise, or simply enjoy the stillness of nature.

Staying at this house made me feel at home. It was my first time ever renting an Airbnb and this has made me feel really good about my trips in the future. Nice sized fish to catch. Ping pong table was great. All in all this property was very beautiful.
Absolutely wonderful place ! This home is so adorable! And the host was amazing! The house was stocked beyond most Airbnb I’ve been to it made it so convenient and comfortable this is a must stay place ! We will definitely use this place for any future stays we need I highly highly recommend this place it is perfect and I don’t think they could have done any better.
We will definitely be back again, absolutely loved everything about this place inside and out although I have to say fishing was my favorite that is what I wanted to do and I got to do it privately just like we wanted. Darla was very quick in answering any questions we may have had and very friendly. The house was beautiful and everything we needed to cook with was so easy to find, loved the snack basket that was left for us !! Definitely a 10/10!!

Both homes are located in central Arkansas. The Lakehouse is near Petit Jean State Park. The Farmhouse is North of Conway near Greers Ferry Lake. After booking, you’ll receive detailed driving directions and check-in instructions.
Yes. Each home is yours entirely during your stay.
At the farmhouse, we live on the back side of the property, but you’ll have total privacy. The lake house is fully private as well.
We love animals, but due to allergies and insurance, we are not able to accommodate guest pets at this time. We also have our own pets at the Farmhouse, who you may choose to interact with if you would like (we keep them away from the farmhouse if you prefer).
Yes — we welcome families and small groups looking for a peaceful getaway. However, because both properties are located near water, we recommend close supervision for children, and the farm property is better suited for families with older children who can safely interact with animals and natural outdoor spaces.
